At Neko Kepo Cat Cafe, visitors can chat with various types of pet cats. This cafe is located on Jalan Raya Sulfat no 170 C, Blimbing, Malang City.
"We want to present a new concept in Malang. Besides we sell delicious food we also provide cats to play with," said the cafe owner, Ikbar Haskara, Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
Ikbar admitted that the inspiration to make a cat-themed cafe appeared when he visited one of the cafes in the Kemang area, Jakarta. There he saw how to manage cat cafes. He also returned to Malang and established Neko Kepo.

"It's been booming in big cities like Jakarta and Surabaya. Now, in Malang there hasn't been, after I visited Kemang I finally took this concept to Malang," Ikbar said.
This cafe has just opened on August 17 2018. Great interest can be seen from the number of visits every day. The average visitor in this cafe is 50 people. He also does not require visitors to buy food or beverage products, visitors may come just to play with cats.
"No need to come to buy food or drinks, come to just play with cats, but there is an entrance ticket of Rp. 10,000, and if you want to give food there are additional costs, the fee is actually for maintenance," said Ikbar.
In Neko Kepo there are five types of cats that are left free to roam. The five cats are Persian, domestic and violent. The most invited to play is the bengal and Persian types that have bright colors.

Besides being released freely, there are various types of games for cats. Starting from bridges, stairs, tunnels, and bedrooms for cats. Interior design is made attractive, fashionable and comfortable impression makes visitors feel at home playing with cats as much as they like.
"We allow visitors to interact with cats, there are also some games for cats. But there are rules, prohibited photos using flash, are prohibited from disturbing cats to sleep, and are prohibited from giving food except the food provided," said Ikbar.
The plan is he will add a collection of cats of other types. He wants in his cafe more and more types of cats from various races around the world.
"Want to add the type of British shorthair or sphynx. To spoil visitors, the average visitors here are girls who like cats," Ikbar said.
